Taking A Good Defect Picture

General tips for taking good photos

  • Make sure you are on a flat surface with good lighting

  • Photo must be clear and of good resolution

  • Products on a flat surface are better than being worn to take picture

  • Get as close as possible to the defect in question when taking the shot

 

 

SIZE ISSUE

On a flat surface, lay out the product with a measuring tape on it, clearly showing the measurement you’re referring to.

Put the emphasis between the product you’ve ordered compared to the product you received.
Visibly showing the hang-tag attached to the product will help us see what may be different from the original product you ordered.

Make sure your photo displays a close up on the defect in question (this is where photo resolution is very important).
You can use your finger, or a post-it to point to the defect.
