Taking A Good Defect Picture
General tips for taking good photos
Make sure you are on a flat surface with good lighting
Photo must be clear and of good resolution
Products on a flat surface are better than being worn to take picture
Get as close as possible to the defect in question when taking the shot
SIZE ISSUE
On a flat surface, lay out the product with a measuring tape on it, clearly showing the measurement you’re referring to.
WRONG PRODUCT
Put the emphasis between the product you’ve ordered compared to the product you received.
Visibly showing the hang-tag attached to the product will help us see what may be different from the original product you ordered.
PRINT ISSUE
Make sure your photo displays a close up on the defect in question (this is where photo resolution is very important).
You can use your finger, or a post-it to point to the defect.
Damage issue
Make sure your photo displays a close up on the defect or damage in question (photo resolution is also very important here).
You can use your finger, or a post-it to point to the defect.
