Thierry was 15 when its first dress was sketched—just for fun. By 23, that sketch had transformed into a garment hanging in stores across America. The journey was exciting, but by 27, the fashion industry no longer felt like the place he had signed up for.

Everything changed when he discovered a work of art—a collage by Erin Case. That moment sparked a new vision: what if art could live on fabric? What if clothing could become a canvas? He began experimenting, first with linings, then dresses, tops, skirts… and soon, we were all obsessed. Supporting artists became our mission, became our purpose.

Le Galeriste was born.

To protect the integrity of the artwork, local production became essential. We refused to send files overseas, where art could be copied and exploited. Instead, we invested in state-of-the-art printing machines, worked with Montreal’s finest seamstresses, and engineered fabrics to do justice to every piece of art. By 2016, after years of effort and every last resource, Le Galeriste had truly come to life.

Today, our Montreal atelier—at the heart of the city’s fashion district—serves as both a creative hub and a production powerhouse. We’ve grown into a trusted partner for thousands of artists and major museums worldwide. Every day, new creators join us to build their own ethical fashion lines, and stores across North America proudly carry our art-to-wear pieces.

In 2023, the next chapter began: Le Galeriste became woman-owned and is now led by Rebecca, carrying forward the vision with fresh energy and dedication.

The brand is built around transparency, fair pricing, human-first manufacturing, and a thriving artist-first community. With water-based inks, recycled papers, and made-to-order lines, our approach keeps waste low and ethical values high.

Whether designing reversible dresses, statement scarves, or bold home accessories, Le Galeriste offers artists a one-stop solution—empowering their creativity and helping them share wearable art with the world.

We’re proud of what we’ve built, but this is only the beginning. Our work is about more than fashion—it’s about art, community, and sustainability.

By choosing Le Galeriste, you help us support living artists, protect the planet, and keep production local.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are shaping a future where art truly lives everywhere.
