| A clear update on the new U.S. tariff. |
| Hi everyone, On Saturday, August 22, the U.S. introduced a new 50% duty under Section 338 on certain Canadian imports. This affects approximately 30% of the styles in the Le Galeriste catalog. |
The good news: approximately 70% of our catalog remains tariff-free.
Only the styles on our affected-styles list are currently subject to the additional duty. For affected styles, the current tariff charged is 25% of the wholesale price paid.

| 1 · Orders with a scheduled ship date before August 22 |
| No action is required. For all orders already shipped or delivered, as well as orders that had a scheduled shipping date on or before Friday, August 21, all applicable duties will be paid by Le Galeriste. |
| 2 · New orders placed since today’s website update |
| For new orders placed since our website was updated this morning, any applicable tariff is now shown and charged directly during the ordering process. Affected styles are identified with a red dot directly in the catalog. |

| When an affected style is added to your cart, the tariff is shown as a separate line before you complete your order. It will also appear separately on your PDF invoice. If Section 338 is removed or reduced before your order ships, we will refund the applicable difference. |

| 3 · Earlier orders shipping August 22 or later |
| The important point is that the tariff is based on when an order crosses the U.S. border — not when the order was placed. Any affected merchandise crossing the border on or after 12:00 a.m. on August 22 is subject to the new duty. If you placed and paid for your order before the Section 338 tariff was added to our website, but your order is scheduled to ship August 22 or later, the new tariff may apply when the shipment crosses the U.S. border. We will wait until your order is ready to ship before issuing any applicable tariff invoice. We are deliberately waiting because the regulations may still change. If the tariff remains in effect when your order is ready, you will receive an itemized invoice showing the tariff for each affected style. The tariff invoice will need to be paid before the order can ship. If the tariff invoice remains unpaid, we will hold your completed order for up to three months. After that period, the order will be considered abandoned. If Section 338 is removed or reduced before your order ships, we will either not invoice the tariff or refund the applicable difference. |
